Overview
Bolide Network, the creator of Searchanise Upsell & Marketing, set out to dramatically improve the reliability, scalability, and speed of its AI-powered Shopify application. To meet the demanding expectations of Shopify merchants and sustain rapid growth, the company needed a fault-tolerant infrastructure capable of handling intense traffic while enabling seamless service delivery. An equally critical objective was to shorten the release cycle for new features—cutting time-to-market from as long as four weeks to just two.
Project Scope
Over a three-month engagement, a dedicated team of two DevOps engineers provided a full suite of services, including server and infrastructure optimization, load testing, and a detailed performance audit. The mission was to build a robust, cloud-native environment from the ground up while aligning with an accelerated development schedule.
Challenges
The project required creating a resilient architecture with 99%+ uptime for a high-traffic, AI-driven marketing platform. Bolide Network also needed a modern CI/CD pipeline that could support frequent updates and rapid deployments without compromising stability or security. Achieving these goals demanded expert coordination and careful planning to ensure scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Solution
Our work began with constructing Docker images and a Docker Compose setup to streamline deployment of multiple microservices and application frontends. We then established three isolated environments—Development, Quality Assurance (QA), and Production—each supported by custom triggers and profiling tools to detect and resolve potential issues early.
The backbone of the new infrastructure was built on Kubernetes clusters using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles for consistency and scalability. To simplify management and improve transparency, we implemented GitOps workflows, enabling the development team to control infrastructure directly through Git, enhancing version control and traceability.
A comprehensive CI/CD pipeline was integrated to enable continuous integration and delivery, cutting deployment time and minimizing release errors. Real-time error tracking, detailed monitoring, and 24/7 alerting were added across both applications and Kubernetes clusters, ensuring proactive issue detection and rapid response to any incidents.
Results
The project delivered a highly resilient, fault-tolerant infrastructure capable of sustaining heavy traffic while maintaining over 99% uptime. The new CI/CD process successfully halved the feature rollout timeline, empowering Bolide Network to meet market demands and release updates with greater speed and confidence. With real-time monitoring, automated alerts, and ongoing technical support, the Searchanise Upsell & Marketing app now runs with enhanced stability and performance—reinforcing Bolide Network’s reputation as a trusted partner for Shopify merchants seeking cutting-edge, AI-driven marketing solutions.
