1. What is the founding story of Glorium Technologies, and how has the company evolved since its inception?

 

I spent eight years working as a developer on Wall Street before helping to co-found Glorium Technologies. In 2010, beginning something new was my best opportunity to grow.

 

With only between ten and twenty thousand dollars in capital, I properly incorporated a company in the USA. And that's how our story began.

 

I started my first year by developing, programming, and looking for potential clients. My former connections from financial companies on Wall Street were among my first clients or those who introduced me to others who eventually became my clients.

 

My partner Dmitriy, an old friend who studied with me in high school, also worked in the US then and eventually joined 3–4 years after I started.

 

Dmitriy has been very helpful in growing our client base and projects, which made us grow our team and even open a second office in Kyiv, Ukraine.

 

2.  What is your philosophy on leadership, and as a CTO, how do you motivate and inspire your team to achieve their best work?

 

Managing and supporting the team is my most significant part of the business. Taking care of employees means taking care of the whole business and customers. The same philosophy helps us nurture the spirit of cooperation, transparency, and trust- motivating for constant growth by developing personal development plans, conducting regular mood monitoring and 1-to-1 sessions, and scheduling the Ask Me Anything sessions with the whole team of C-level managers.

 

3. What have been the most significant achievements of Glorium Technologies so far?

 

As a company that develops software, we are proud of many achievements. We have created innovative solutions for different industries used by multiple people, especially in healthcare. Our software helps in saving lives and care about patients.

 

Our company has been proudly named among the Inc.5000 (2020, 2021, 2022) & Regionals (2021, 2022) fastest-growing private companies in America. This achievement showcases our consistent growth and dedication to providing exceptional services. In addition, our clients have consistently praised the quality of our work, which makes us committed to maintaining this high standard.

 

Glorium successfully overcame the Russian invasion of Ukraine last year. Despite our difficulties, the company remained committed to our mission of providing high-quality services to our clients. At Glorium Technologies, we strive for excellence in our work and are passionate about using advanced technology to create a positive impact in the world.

 

4. How does Glorium Technologies prioritize and manage project timelines and budgets, and what steps do you take to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget?

 

Because different clients have different expectations and no two clients have the same core goals, we use a customized strategy for each client. To help manage expectations and keep clients informed, we designate a dedicated account manager for each customer. Similarly to that, we assign a specific delivery manager or PM in charge of their product deliveries.

 

Any project, regardless of its industry, can benefit from our best practices, methods, and standards. With extensive knowledge of more than 70 technologies & frameworks, we can complete any project.

 

However, regarding industry specifics, the main benefit we give our clients goes beyond engineering itself. Our experience allows us to deeply understand a client's business, its needs, and the big picture it operates in. In some circumstances, we can better understand the business than the client does! Thus, we can leverage our experience, be more effective, and bring more value.

 

5. What gives Glorium Technologies an edge over other software development firms, and how do you stay competitive in the market?

 

Every project comes with new difficulties. However, we have succeeded because of our dedication to engineering innovation, domain knowledge, and high expectations for our technical team.

 

This means that 60% of our developers are at a senior level or higher, and clients that work with us will have access to the most knowledgeable and experienced specialists.

 

A total of more than 70 frameworks and technologies are known to our developers. With such knowledge, they may recognize when technological problems cause product failure. We are adamant that providing unique business needs and attempting to manage them using the most excellent technical solution is essential to being a service-oriented firm.

 

Product research, tech consulting, software development, testing, marketing & growth, certification, compliance assistance, and business consulting are some of the services we offer with a focus on startups. Even some of our clients receive monetary aid from us.

 

6. What are the key factors that Glorium Technologies considers before deciding on a software development platform?

 

Before choosing a software development platform, we thoroughly analyze and understand the client's requirements. This includes the functional requirements, what the client hopes to achieve, and any organizational requirements that must be considered. We consider if a client needs to create a stable application quickly, build a fast MVP, or optimize internal processes with integration into other applications.

 

We also consider what is already developed, performance requirements. After such a complex analysis, we can choose the right platform to meet the customer's needs.

 

7. What do you see as promising opportunities for growth and expansion for Glorium Technologies, and how are you planning to capitalize on them?

 

We have been growing consistently over the past 12 years at a rate of roughly 25% yearly. We entered the Inc5000 list over the past two years and intend to keep growing at the same or higher rate.

 

Our target audience is the startup market and enterprises. Despite the economic crisis and slower pay of VC funding, these markets remain in a strong position. Also, we are deep specialists in the real estate and healthcare industries and plan to develop these and other industries.

 

8. Given the recent buzz surrounding the term "Metaverse," what are your thoughts??

 

I find the technology behind Metaverse to be quite intriguing. While it is still in its early stages and not fully developed, it can be a game-changer for humanity. But there have been many examples of promising technologies that fell below expectations. So, we will be keeping a close eye on its progress and are eager to see what the future holds for this technology.

 

9.  How does Glorium Technologies approach customer service, and what steps do you take to ensure clients are satisfied with your work?

 

Cooperation scenarios with clients differ depending on their understanding of what is needed. For example, some clients have precise requirements and specifications for high-quality project development services. Others approach us with a high-level idea and need guidance and partnership to deliver the final product. In such cases, we usually start with a product and market analysis, architecture design, and tech stack validation.

 

In addition to our high-quality service approach, feedback is crucial in providing the best delivery service possible. Therefore, we always strive to ask for feedback during the process and make necessary adjustments based on our customers' needs. This continuous process of improving our delivery service ensures we can guarantee complete customer satisfaction.

 

10. You've been in this sphere for a long time; what advice would you give aspiring entrepreneurs looking to start a successful software development company?

 

Dedication and persistence are crucial for success in any business, especially for a software development company. These qualities are necessary to overcome the initial stages of growth. And when it comes to software development services, it's essential to remember that the keyword is "service."

 

A service company must listen carefully to the client's needs and desires. Always remember to put the client first and focus on their vision rather than your own. By being client-oriented from start to finish, you'll be on the path to success.
